A secondary school building facility will further contribute to the development of an educational hub as per the Medine Master Plan, aiming to become the place of learning by 2015.
The operator, Westcoast International Secondary School (WISS), aims at developing an ideal setting where teaching and learning are enjoyable, exciting and enriching to all.
WISS will provide a challenging academic college preparatory programme that will give students the opportunity to achieve future success in The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). As the first English-medium school on the west coast, WISS will provide a solid foundation for any Higher Level Courses. In Form 6 and beyond, students can choose from multiple study tracks, including the more progressive International Baccalaureate Diploma level (IB) or the Cambridge-focused track (A Levels).
Sports and extra-curricular activities include athletics, rugby, cricket, football and many more.
Construction has started in January 2016 and should be completed before the end of the year.
